Pura Vida Summer Jewellery
Pura Vida means pure life, and this stunning summer jewellery collection symbolises the freedom of beach living evoking the memories of a hot, sunny day spent by the seaside.
In 2010 two Southern California friends college graduates, Griffin Thall and Paul Goodman, travelled to Costa Rica. It was not long before these two friends began to appreciate the simple lifestyle of the local people living in this beautiful part of the world.
Griffin and Paul crossed paths with two bracelet artisans named Jorge and Joaquin. The colourful handmade bracelets seemed to capture the essence of their journey. Griffin and Paul asked Jorge and Joaquin to make 400 bracelets to take home with them.
Upon returning home to San Diego, California, Griffin and Paul displayed the bracelets at a local boutique. No one expected that the casual encounter would one day grow into the successful partnership that it is today!
Within days the bracelets were sold out and everyone was asking for more. Griffin and Paul soon recognized the significance of these simple string bracelets. It was more than a symbol of simple things in life, it was the symbol of friendship too.
